Abstract
본 발명은 홈 게이트웨이와 티브이 인터페이스 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 홈 게이트웨이의 디스플레이 장치를 티브이로 사용하고 무선 키보드를 사용하여 홈 게이트웨이를 통해 티브이를 제어하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 발명은 사용자의 키 조작을 입력받아 코딩하고 적외선 포트를 통해 적외선 신호로 변조하여 출력하는 무선 키보드와; 상기 무선 키보드의 적외선 신호를 범용 비동기화 송수신기를 통해 입력받아 디코딩하고 티브이의 제어신호에 정합하도록 코딩하여 범용 비동기화 송수신기를 통해 적외선 신호를 출력하는 홈 게이트웨이와; 상기 홈 게이트웨이의 범용 비동기화 송수신기로부터 출력된 적외선 신호를 입력받아 모드 전환하고 홈 게이트웨이의 영상 출력부와 음성 출력부에서 출력되는 콤포지트 영상 신호와 음성 신호를 표시하는 티브이로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 별도의 단말기 없이 기존의 티브이를 홈 게이트웨이의 디스플레이 장치로 사용하여 사용자의 비용 부담을 줄이고 홈 게이트웨이를 사용하여 티브이를 제어하는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a home gateway and a TV interface device and method, and more particularly, to control a TV through a home gateway using a display device of the home gateway as a TV and using a wireless keyboard.
