Abstract

PURPOSE: A home remote video monitoring system is provided to achieve improved user convenience by permitting a user to perform a monitoring operation even when the user uses a personal computer, while preventing an erroneous operation of the system. CONSTITUTION: A home remote video monitoring system comprises a photographing unit(200) having an infrared radiation portion(230) for radiating infrared rays to an object and receiving the reflected light by using the eye of the object; an infrared body sensor unit(300) for sensing the movement of the object and obtaining the volume of radiation of infrared ray generated from the object; a data storing unit(140); and a control unit(100) for collecting object related data and judging whether to generate an alarm when the infrared body sensor unit senses the movement of the object, converting image and voice signals from the photographing unit into digital data and storing the digital data into the data storing unit when an alarm is generated, and outputting data through one of television or personal computer of remote place.
