Abstract

PURPOSE: An inner circulation type sequencing batch reactor is provided to actively cope with shape and property and flow change of influent and obtain stable treatment efficiency by dividing the reactor into two or more of reactors so that reaction liquid is circulated through the respective reactors. CONSTITUTION: In a sequencing batch reactor for treating nitrogen and phosphorus existing in influent, the inner circulation type sequencing batch reactor comprises a main reactor(2) in which influent is contained so that the influent is consecutively treated according to time; a multipurpose tank(1) installed in front of the main reactor; an influent/return water control tank(3) which is connected to the main reactor by means of an overflow weir(15) with the influent/return water control tank being connected to one side wall in the multipurpose tank, at a lower part of which a multipurpose tank lower part inflow pipe(31) is formed to transfer influent and return water to the multipurpose tank, and which controls quantity of the influent and reaction liquid returned from the main reactor; an inner liquid circulation unit(11) for circulating the reaction liquid from the multipurpose tank to the main reactor; and a sludge return line(25) for transferring sludge drawn out through a sludge discharge unit(25) under the main reactor to the influent/return water control tank.
