Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a waterproof liner, which has seawater resistance under seawater environment and chemical resistance against various chemical substances generated from polluted ground water and wastes. CONSTITUTION: The waterproof liner having seawater resistance and chemical resistance comprises a mixture containing slag powder mixed with attapulgite, and earth and sand. The pores in the earth and sand are filled with the mixture, while the micropores of the earth and sand and those of the slag are filled with the attapulgite particles, thereby minimizing active pores through which fluids flow. The slag powder has a fineness of 500-6000 cm¬2/g, and the mixing ratio of the slag powder and the attapulgite is 2:1.
