Abstract

PURPOSE: A high-isolation WDM filter and a fabricating method thereof are provided to obtain a high degree of isolation and reduce a manufacturing cost by removing the remaining light of a radiation mode or a clad mode. CONSTITUTION: A high-isolation WDM filter includes an APC ferrule(200,205), a thin film(210), a C-shaped sleeve(220), an optical fiber(231,232), and a cylindrical sleeve(240). The APC ferrule(200,205) has a polished angle of 8 degrees. The thin film(210) is bonded on one side of the APC ferrule by using epoxy. The C-shaped sleeve(220) is used for fixing and arranging the APC ferrule and the thin film. The cylindrical sleeve(240) is used for fixing the APC ferrule and the thin film after the APC ferrule and the thin film are arranged on the C-shaped sleeve.
