Abstract
PURPOSE: An apparatus for supplying power is provided to improve the stability of an equipment by supplying power from a neighboring area where an electricity is in failure. CONSTITUTION: An input power unit(200) is comprised of an input power source. A power protector(210) protects the power inputted through the input power unit(200). A transformer(220) drops the input power to a voltage level suitable for a load. An automatic switching unit(240) supplies continuously power without influence according to an operation of the load in a change of the input power, an electricity failure, and an instant power failure. A relay(230) switches a contact point according to a signal applied from the automatic switching unit(240). The automatic switching unit(240) includes a DC(Direct Current) power generator(250) and a controller(260). The DC power generator(250) full-wave-rectifies the input power inputted from the transformer(220) to generate a DC power. The controller(260) amplifies the DC power to a predetermined level and supplies the amplified power to the load.
