Abstract

PURPOSE: A wireless Internet phone is provided to allow maximum seven users to use an Internet phone simultaneously with only Internet line by connecting a phone connected to an Internet network and a mobile handset by a Bluetooth radio link. CONSTITUTION: An Internet phone station(100) sets up a call and a call release, exchanges a voice coded data and user interface information with maximum seven mobile handsets by using a Bluetooth radio link, and enables an Internet phone through an Internet phone protocol processing using an ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) modem or an Ethernet connection module. A mobile handset(110) performs a voice CODEC function and a user interface function, a call set-up and release, voice coded data transmission and reception, and user interface information transmission and reception with the Internet phone station(100) by using the Bluetooth radio link. Thus, the mobile handset(110) can make a voice communication wirelessly like a general mobile phone.
