Abstract
PURPOSE: Provided are a breathing film which is suitable to use as protective articles while retaining an eco-friendly capability of inhibition of dioxin generation occurred when incineration of wastes, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The breathing film is produced by the steps of (i) melt molding a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of polyolefin resin and 30-300 parts by weight of iron oxide-based particles to form a disc; and (ii) stretching the disc with area-elongation ratio of 1.5-36 times. The iron oxide-based particles are iron oxide particles having average particle diameter of 0.01-10 micrometers, which are obtained by heating iron compounds particles comprising, as impurities, 0.001-0.02 wt%(based on weight of the particles) of phosphorus, 0.001-0.6 wt% of sulfur, and 0.001-0.5 wt% of sodium at 300 deg.C in air for 60 minutes.
