Abstract

PURPOSE: A hybrid harmonic filter is provided to prevent the distortion of waveform of voltage and current and reduce power loss by improving components of harmonics generated from a non-linear load. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid harmonic filter includes a T-filter portion(32), a waveform correction resistance portion(42,44), a discharge resistance portion(48), and a condenser(46). The T-filter portion includes the first inductor for increasing the impedance, the first correction reactor connected to a power supply portion, the second inductor for reducing harmonics from a non-linear load, the second correction reactor connected to the first correction reactor and an input terminal of the non-linear load, and the valence reactor for reducing the impedance. The waveform correction resistance portion includes the first waveform correction resistance for reducing the critical impedance of the power supply portion and the second waveform correction resistance for preventing the overload and reducing the notching voltage. The discharge resistance portion is connected to an end of the balance reactor of the T-filter portion. The condenser is connected to the discharge resistance portion.
