Description
Claims (10)
- 통신 시스템에서 동작하는 송신국- 상기 송신국은 요청 코드를 전송함으로써 상기 통신 시스템으로의 액세스를 요청함 -의 전송 전력을 제어하는 방법에 있어서,상기 송신국으로부터 상기 요청 코드를 전송하는 단계;상기 통신 시스템 내의 수신국에서 상기 요청 코드를 수신하는 단계;상기 요청 코드의 수신된 내용에 기초하여 품질 메트릭(quality metric)을 생성하는 단계; 및상기 품질 메트릭에 응답하여 상기 전송 전력을 조정하는 단계를 포함하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 요청 코드는 데이터의 프레임을 포함하고, 품질 메트릭을 생성하는 상기 단계는 소정의 데이터 시퀀스에 대해 상기 데이터의 프레임을 관찰하는 단계를 포함하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 요청 코드는 타이밍 포착 및 동기화를 목적으로 전송되는 신호로서 상기 수신국에서 선험적으로 알려진 신호를 포함하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 요청 코드는 상기 수신국에서 선험적으로 알려진 전송된 내용을 갖는 데이터의 프레임을 포함하며, 품질 메트릭을 생성하는 상기 단계는 상기 프레임 타입을 결정하고 상기 데이터의 프레임의 수신된 내용에 기초하여 상기 품질 메트릭을 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 요청 코드는 데이터의 프레임- 상기 프레임은 프레임 타입을 가짐 -을 포함하며, 품질 메트릭을 생성하는 상기 단계는 상기 프레임 타입을 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,적당한 요청 코드가 전송되었는지를 판정하는 단계; 및상기 수신국과 상기 송신국 간의 통신 세션을 초기화하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 무선 통신 시스템-상기 무선 통신 시스템은 적어도 하나의 기지 통신국을 포함함-에서 동작하는 원격 통신 유닛의 전송 전력을 제어하는 방법에 있어서,상기 원격 통신 유닛으로부터 프리앰블 메시지를 전송하는 단계;상기 기지 통신국에서 상기 프리앰블 메시지를 수신하는 단계;상기 수신된 프리앰블 메시지의 내용을 평가하고 품질 메트릭을 생성하는 단계; 및상기 품질 메트릭에 기초하여 상기 원격 통신 유닛의 전송 전력을 조정하는 단계를 포함하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 품질 메트릭은 탐색 통계치와 비트 에러율로 구성된 그룹 중 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 프리앰블 메시지는 데이터의 프레임을 포함하고, 상기 프리앰블 메시지의 내용을 평가하는 단계는 수신된 프레임 내용을 예상되는 프레임 내용과 비교하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 데이터의 프레임은 프레임 타입을 포함하고, 상기 프리앰블 메시지의 내용을 평가하는 단계는 상기 프레임 타입을 결정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전송 전력 제어 방법.
