Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a switch, and more particularly, to a touch switch for performing a predetermined key input with an electric signal by a contact of a body, ie, a finger.
A touch switch is a device that generates a predetermined electric signal by touching a part of the body, such as a finger, to a corresponding part without undergoing a physical structure change, that is, without pressing or turning, and is used for various electric and electronic devices including elevators and monitors. It is widely used.
In addition, the quality of products is the basic and the design of products is also an important indicator of product selection.
Accordingly, manufacturers of various electric and electronic devices are focusing on product design and product development.
As shown in FIG. 1, the touch switch according to the related art is formed of a conductor at a predetermined position of the outer case 11 of the product, and generates a predetermined signal according to a human body, ie, a finger or the like. 2 and a signal processor 2 for signal processing to recognize the signal generated by the touch knob 1 in the microcomputer 3 to perform a corresponding function is configured as shown in FIG.
Referring to the signal processing operation of the touch switch according to the prior art configured as described above are as follows.
First, the microcomputer 3 supplies an enable waveform for reading the signal input of the touch knob 1 through the resistor R3, and the transistor Q1 of the signal processor 2 is output from the microcomputer 3. Irrespective of the enable waveform, the 'high' state is always maintained due to the capacitance of the capacitor C1, and thus the high level signal induced across the resistor R4 is input to the microcomputer 3.
At this time, the capacitance of the capacitor C1 is set to a value lower than the capacitance of the human body (about 150 pF).
When the user touches the corresponding touch knob 1 by hand to perform a predetermined function, for example, a screen adjustment operation of the monitor, the capacitance of the human body is applied to the signal processor 2 through the touch knob 1. .
Subsequently, a current equal to or greater than the capacitance of the capacitor C1, that is, the human body's capacitance is applied to the base of the transistor Q1 of the signal processor 2, so that the transistor Q1 is turned on during the 'low' period of the enable waveform. A low signal is input to (3).
Therefore, the microcomputer 3 recognizes the input of the touch knob 1 and controls each unit to perform the corresponding function.
The touch switch according to the prior art has the following problems.
First, in a dry environment, especially in winter, when the touch knob made of a conductor such as metal and the human body may generate static electricity, the user may be offended.
Second, since the touch knob must be exposed to the outside, it is inconvenient to install and install and presents limitations in terms of design.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a touch switch that prevents the generation of static electricity, facilitates installation and installation, and enables free product design.

And, as shown in Figure 4, as the human body approaches the metal foil 21 by a predetermined distance (thickness of the outer case) or more, that is, between the outer case 20 and the metal foil 21 as the human body contacts the outer case 20. The signal processing unit 22 for signal processing the current flowing by the formed capacitance in a form recognizable by the microcomputer 23 is linked.
In this case, since the signal processor 22 may be configured in various forms according to the processor of the corresponding product, that is, the microcomputer 23, the detailed description of the present invention is the same as that of the related art, and thus the detailed processing is omitted.
Referring to the signal processing operation of the touch switch according to the present invention configured as described above are as follows.
When a user touches a finger on a portion where a symbol or language of the product outer case 20 is printed in order to perform a predetermined function, the signal processor 22 is formed by the capacitance of the human body formed between the inner metal foil 21 and the printing portion. A current flows through) and a 'low' signal is input to the microcomputer 23.
Accordingly, the microcomputer 23 controls each unit to perform a function corresponding to the mark.
