Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and device for sensing the fall of a slope are provided to prevent the fall of a slope by detecting the signs of a fall in advance. CONSTITUTION: A movable stake(10) is mounted on a slope. At least one pulleys fixed on the upper ends of the movable stakes are connected with encoders. A temperature sensor senses temperature. A wire interconnects the pulleys. A branch control unit(3) mounted in measuring devices(1) receives the data of the encoders and the temperature sensor. An operating unit(41) operates the data transmitted from the branch control units and compensates temperature. The data are stored in a storage unit(42) and displayed on a display unit(43) of a main control unit(4).
