Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for setting reservation recording of a VCR is provided to set reservation recording without failure by displaying a program number and the name of a broadcasting station on OSD. CONSTITUTION: A program number corresponding to a broadcasting station is set and stored(S10). It is judged if a reservation recording setting mode key signal is applied or not(S11). When the reservation recording setting mode key signal is applied, the stored broadcasting station program number is read to be displayed on a TV monitor(S12). It is judged if reservation recording data is inputted or not(S13). When the reservation recording data is inputted, the reservation recording data is stored(S14). During the step of displaying the program number on the TV monitor, the brightness of the program number is controlled according to a brightness level control signal.
