Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a national language notation system and method of an internet address, characterized in that it is possible to use national language notation for an e-mail address and a uniform resource location.
When explaining the Internet terms used below to help understand the invention as follows.
ISP(Internet Service Provider)는 인터넷 서비스 공급자이다.An ISP (Internet Service Provider) is an internet service provider.
Domain Name Service (DNS) is a service that translates an alphabetic domain name into its 32-bit IP address on the Internet.
URL (Uniform resource location) is the address of a site (machine) that holds information on the Internet. An English character string that contains characters.
An E-mail Address has a login account for a particular machine connected to the Internet. The '@' character and the '.' The client address (eg, kkj@bora.dacom.co.kr) that contains characters and is an English character string.
A daemon is a Unix term for a particular kind of program that works in the background. Using daemons, programs can leave data processing to small programs and continue to do more important things.
Client: The user side of the client / server configuration. When a user connects to the server, the client can refer to itself, point to the user's computer, or be a program running on the computer. For example, if you download something from an ftp site, you are using an ftp client program.
Port: All upper layer applications that use TCP (or ULP) for DNS services have a port number that identifies the application. When a TCP system requests another TCP system, it uses the port number to identify the format of the service. These port numbers can be changed. Typically, more than 255 port numbers are reserved for dedicated local machines, and less than port 255 are reserved for frequently used processes on the Internet. The list of port numbers is published by the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority). Some of the commonly used port numbers are shown in Table 1.

TCP / IP is a combination of Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol.
The core components of TCP / IP are Telnet, Remote File Transfer Protocol, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, Password and Password, which support Remote Login. Kerberos, Domain Name Service, Simple Network Management Protocol to support agent device information for password verification, and multiple machines with clear access to different directories Network File System to enable remote control, Remote Procedure Call to allow applications to communicate with other machines (Servers), Trivial File Transfer Protocol, and secure transfer of data Transmission Control Protocol, User Datagram Protocol, Net protocol (Internet Protocol), is a set of programs, such as Internet Control Message Protocol (Inter Control Message Protocol) inform the other device failed on the Internet.
The TCP / IP architecture is shown in Table 2. Table 2 compares the differences with the OSI architecture. While OSI consists of seven layers with both logical and presentation layers, TCP / IP combines both within the application layer.

It is convenient to understand the Internet as the next four layers
The application service layer provides a user application interface. This layer coordinates e-mail, remote file transfer, and remote access.
The service provider protocol layer controls the overall communication of the network without errors.
The top of the internetwork layer supports the functions for communication between networks.
(4) Network Addresses are similar to Mailing Addresses that inform the system where the datagram is being delivered. Name, address, and route are terms related to addressing. The name is a specific identification of a machine, user or application. It is the only target for a datagram, and the router tells the system how to get the datagram at an address.
Most internet sites operated in Korea provide Korean titles and Korean information, but it is inconvenient to write the URL or e-mail address required when searching a website in English. In other words, even if you know the name of the Korean site, you cannot enter the site without knowing the URL address in English. The URL can be easily memorized by linking with the English site name. Memorizing URLs is difficult and leads to confusion when using them.
Such problems are obvious to the general users who are not familiar with English and the Internet users who use only Korean sites, and the obstacles to the expansion of Internet users are obvious.
Accordingly, the present invention improves the above problems. Native Letter Name (NLN) enables local ISP Internet users, including Korean users, to access Internet e-mail addresses or URLs in their native language (NL). ) To provide services.
Specifically, it allows additional use of national language notation for the existing English notation e-mail address or URL, so that mailing and web searching can be done by entering the e-mail address or URL of the English notation as before. In addition, by entering the NLN, you can convert it to an IP address (or URL) or e-mail address and forward it to an Internet program. I want to be able to.
For example, if you are looking for the website of Chosun Ilbo in Korea that uses Hangul as NL (Native Letter), you can enter only one of "http://www.chosun.co.kr" or "Chosun Ilbo". To get to the site. In this way, when using the national language notation, the names of institutional institutions that are already known to Korean users, such as Cheong Wa Dae, Korea Intellectual Property Office, Seoul City Hall, Gyeonggi Provincial Office, Cheonryan, Chosun Ilbo, Hitel, Unitel, etc. Not only can you register for and substitute for a URL; It allows the use of URLs or e-mail addresses in Korean for foreign institutions such as the White House, the US Patent Office, the Japan Patent Office, and NASA, making it easier for local Internet users, including Korean, to use the Internet. The purpose is to make it possible.

4 is a schematic diagram of a national language notation service system of an email address according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
The present invention provides a native letter name service system of an Internet address that enables the local ISP's national language notation (Title or Name) to be used for e-mail addresses or URLs (or IP addresses) on the Internet.
Specifically, in the existing Internet, ISP's DNS or mail server can provide IP address or send mail on Internet for URL or E-mail address provided by client.
In the present invention, all requests from the client to the ISP's DNS and the mail server are transmitted through the proxy program of the ISP DNS server or the client's national language service program. Proxy program or national language notation service program checks national language notation provided by client and provides it to DNS or mail program if it is URL (or IP address) or e-mail address. If it is national language notation, national language notation service server installed on network. Querying and returning an IP address (or URL) or e-mail address to provide Internet services through an Internet routing path; A national language notation service server installed on a network has a database containing a national language notation and its corresponding IP address (or URL) or national language notation and its corresponding English email address and an IP address (or URL) for the requested national language notation. Or an e-mail address.
The native letter name (hereinafter referred to as 'NLN') proposed in the present invention is a local language notation of a local ISP for an Internet website address or an e-mail address.
The national language notation means '.' URL (or IP address) alphanumeric string containing letters, '@' and '.' It is not an English character string format of an e-mail address that contains characters, but is written in the language of the local ISP and is a unique title or name string in the NLNS server.
The native letter name service (hereinafter referred to as 'NLNS') proposed in the present invention means a national language notation service of an Internet website address or an e-mail address, and a URL (or IP address) or E- for an NLN. Provide a mail address.
The NLNS server is not unique on the Internet, and local ISPs of the same language can connect to one NLNS on the Internet.
The proxy program inquires about the NLN from the ISP's DNS server against the designated NLNS server, and the NLNS program inquires about the NLN from the client browser.
In summary, the service of the present invention is a service for providing an IP address (or URL) by NLN and an English e-mail address by NLN in DNS of a local ISP.
This invention is explained in more detail as follows.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a national language notation service system of a URL according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
The existing local Internet Service Provider (ISP), for example, the DNS server of the existing Korean ISP, is configured to receive port 53 (DNS standard port) from the Web client and send it to port 53.
문자가 포함된 URL(또는 IP주소)과 '.' In Fig. 1, the daemon of the proxy program 3 uses a port 53 (DNS standard port) as an input port from the Web client 4, and a port. Use 5300 as output port. The DNS program 2 of the DNS server 1 uses port 5300 as an input port, and all requests are transmitted through the proxy program 3 of the daemon installed as an intermediate agent. Specifically, the proxy program 3 checks whether the string input from the web client 4 through the port 53 is an IP address (or URL) or an NLN. As a way of checking, non-alphabetic NSNs check whether a string is in ASCII code. ASCII code can be recognized by examining the first bit of the first character of the string. If the value of the first bit is 0, it is regarded as an ASCII URL (or IP address). If it is 1, it is regarded as an NLN, not an ASCII code. In addition, if the NLN contains alphabetic or numeric characters, the '.' URLs (or IP addresses) containing the characters and '.' Distinguish NLNs that do not contain letters. Detecting specific characters in a given string is easy for the programmer. If the result of the test is considered a URL (or IP address), the entered string is sent to the DNS server as it is. If it is regarded as an NLN, it is transmitted to a designated NLNS server 5 installed on the network, and then the IP program (or URL) returned from the NLNS server 5 is provided to the DNS program 2 so that normal Internet routing of a general DNS server is performed. Routing / Transmission of packet information from one machine to another. When the error code is returned from the NLNS server 5, the proxy program 3 receives the URL (or IP address) or the NLN again from the web client 4.
For this purpose, the present invention has a NLN and a corresponding IP address (or URL) database in the NLNS server 5 installed on the network, and the NLNS server 5 is connected to the NLN provided by the proxy program 3. If a corresponding IP address (or URL) is not found and an IP address (or URL) is not found, an error code (eg NUL) is returned.
2 is a schematic diagram of a national language notation service system of an email address according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
In Fig. 2, the E-mail address service by the NLN enables the sending of Internet e-mails to the NLN.
The local ISP, for example, the mail server of an existing ISP in Korea, is configured to receive port 25 (SMPT standard port) from a Web client and send it to port 25.
The daemon of the inventive proxy program 8 outlined in Fig. 2 uses port 25 as an input port from a Web client 4 and port 2500 as an output port. The mail program 7 of the ISP mail server 6 uses port 2500 as an input port, and all requests are sent through the proxy program 8 of the daemon installed as an intermediate delegate. Specifically, the proxy program 8 checks whether the string input from the web client 9 through the port 25 is an NLN or an E-mail address. As one of these checks, NLNs in non-English characters check whether the string is in ASCII code. ASCII code can be recognized by examining the first bit of the first character of the string. If the value of the first bit is 0, it is regarded as ASCII E-mail address. If it is 1, it is regarded as NLN. In addition, if the NLN contains alphabetic or numeric characters, the '.' Distinguish between E-mail addresses that contain letters or '@' characters and NLNs that do not contain these letters. Detecting specific characters in a given string is easy for the programmer. The character string regarded as the E-mail address is sent to the ISP's mail program 7 as it is. The string regarded as NLN is transmitted to the designated NLNS server 10 installed on the network, and then the E-Mail address returned from the NLNS server 10 is provided to the mail program 7 so that the normal Internet routing path of the general mail server is provided. Internet mailing service is provided through, and when the error code is returned from the NLNS server 10, the proxy program 8 receives the E-Mail address or NLN again from the mail client 9.
In order to accomplish the above, the present invention provides an NLNS server 10 installed on a network having a database containing the NLN and its corresponding English E-mail address and corresponding to the NLN provided by the proxy program 8. If a mail address is returned and a corresponding E-mail address is not found, an error code is returned.
The NLNS server 5 and the NLNS server 10 may be installed as an integrated server.
3 is a schematic diagram of a national language notation service system of a URL according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
In Fig. 3, the web browser 14 of the web client 13 has the NLNS program 14a, and all requests from the web client 13 are NLNS server 15 installed on the network via the NLNS program 14a. Through the inquiry of the DNS server 11 is transmitted to the DNS program 12.
Specifically, the NLNS program 14a checks whether the string input from the web client 14 through the above checking process is a URL or NLN. If it is regarded as a check result URL of the NLNS program 14a, the inputted address is sent to the DNS program 12 as it is. If it is regarded as an NLN, a string is transmitted to a designated NLNS server 15 installed on a network, and then the DNS program 12 provides an IP address (or URL) returned from the NLNS server 15. If the IP address (or URL) corresponding to the address is not found, the NLNS server 15 sends an error code, and the NLNS program 14a, which has received the error code, inputs a new URL or NLN from the web client 14. Requires. In this way, when the NLN provided from the web client 14 to the NLNS program 14a is returned to the IP address (or URL) from the NLNS server 15, the IP address (or URL) is provided to the DNS program 12 so that the DNS server can be used. Will provide the website service through the Internet routing path.
The NLNS server 15 installed on the network to communicate with the NLNS program 14a installed in the present invention for the above work has a database containing the website NLN and its corresponding IP address (or URL) and the NLNS program. The IP address (or URL) or error code for the NLN provided by 14a is returned to the NLNS program 14a.
Fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of a national language notation service system of an e-mail address according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
In Fig. 4, the mail browser 19 of the mail client 18 has the NLNS program 19a and all requests from the mail client 19 are installed on the network via the NLNS program 19a. The mail server 17 is transmitted to the mail server 17 of the mail server 16 after the inquiry.
Specifically, the NLNS program 19a checks whether the string input from the mail client 18 is an NLN or an E-Mail address through the above-described checking process. If the test result string of the NLNS program 19a is regarded as an E-mail address, the input character string is sent to the ISP mail server program 17 as it is. If it is regarded as NLN, the data is transmitted to the designated NLNS server 20 installed on the network, and then the E-Mail address returned from the NLNS server 20 is provided to the mail server program 17. If no E-mail address matching the NLN is found, the NLNS server 20 sends an error code, and the NLNS program 19a, which has received the error code, sends a new E-Mail address or NLN to the mail client 18. Requires input. In this way, the NLN provided from the mail client 18 to the NLNS program 19a is returned to the E-Mail address from the NLNS server 20 and provided to the mail server program 17 so that the mail is routed through the E-Mail routing path of the ISP. It will provide a service.
The NLNS server 20 installed on the network to communicate with the NLNS program 19a installed in the present invention for the above work has an NLN and a corresponding E-Mail address database, and the NLN provided by the NLNS program 19a. The E-mail address or error code is returned to the NLNS program 19a.
The NLNS server 15 and the NLNS server 20 may be installed as an integrated server.
As such, the present invention provides a service that enables Internet users to use a heading indicating an e-mail address by a letter of a local ISP and a title indicating a website for an e-mail address or a URL. It is convenient and easy to use, and has the effect of expanding the Internet user base.
