Abstract

PURPOSE: A conference call method in a circuit switching network is provided to maintain the conference call of conference callees irrespective of the disconnection of a channel of a conference caller who requests the conference call. CONSTITUTION: A switch 1 retrieves whether a hook-on signal is received from a conference caller(202). If the hook-on signal is not received from the conference caller, the switch 1 retrieves whether a hook-on signal is received from a conference callee(204). If the hook-on signal is received from the conference callee, the switch 1 recognizes that the number of conference callees is decreased by 1(206). The switch 1 judges whether the conference callee is a last conference callee(208). If the conference callee is not the last conference callee, the switch 1 turns off a channel with the corresponding conference callee(216). If the hook-on signal is received from the conference caller, the switch 1 retrieves whether the number of conference callees who currently perform the conference call is one(220). If the number of conference callees is two ore more, the switch 1 performs a conference call sub-routine among the conference callees.

Description

Method of Conference Call in Circuit-Switched Network

The present invention relates to a conference call method in a switchboard, and more particularly, to a conference call method in a circuit-switched network that performs a conference call between subscribers belonging to different exchanges in a circuit-switched network consisting of a plurality of exchanges.

In general, a conference call at an exchange means a call method that allows two or more subscribers to make a call at the same time. The construction and operation of the general exchanger for the conference call described above is disclosed in Korean Patent Application Nos. 91-83428, 92-17723, 92-6538, and the like, filed by the applicant of the present application. A conventional conference call method for conducting conference calls between subscribers subscribed to different exchanges in a circuit switched network in which the above-described exchanges are coupled to each other is disclosed in Korean Patent Application No. 93-26121 filed by the present applicant.

1 is a connection state diagram illustrating an example of connection of an exchange and a subscriber for a conference call in a general circuit switched network. Referring to FIG. 1, the conference call method in the circuit switched network will be briefly described.

In a circuit-switched network consisting of at least two exchanges storing predetermined conference group information, switch 1, which is a main switch to which a conference caller (e.g., 7450001) that requests a conference function is first connected, receives a conference group number from the conference caller. Subsequently, the switch 1 searches conference group information corresponding to the received conference group number, accesses information of subscribers registered in the conference group, and searches for a subscriber connected to the child node.

If the subscribers registered in the conference group are child nodes, the switch 1 stores the subscriber's information and the call line information in the conference group service work area and transmits a status check signal to the subscriber. However, if the subscribers registered in the conference group are not self-node subscribers, the subscriber discovery signal is transmitted to another exchange (eg, switch 2) connected to the circuit-switching network. Subsequently, exchange 2 connecting subscribers (e.g., 7460001 and 7460002) registered in the conference group receives the subscriber discovery signal and transmits the presence response signal of the subscribers, and the exchange 1 receives the existence response signal. The information of the switch 2 is stored in the conference group service work area and a subscriber status check signal is sent to the switch 2. Then, the switch 2 receives the subscriber status check signal, checks the call state of the subscribers, outputs a state check response signal including the call path information of the subscribers, and transmits a ring tone to the corresponding subscribers. When the hook-off signal is received from the subscribers in response to the call signal, the response signal is sent to the switch 1, and the switch 1 and the subscribers connect the call path. Thereafter, the exchange 1 receives the status check response signal and stores information in a conference group service work area of a corresponding subscriber's call, and when the response signal is received from the switch 2 in response to a hookoff signal of the subscribers, The conference call path with the corresponding subscribers.

FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a conventional conference call termination process. Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the conventional conference call termination method is described. First, in step 102, the exchange 1 searches whether a hook-on signal is received from the conference caller. . In this case, if the reception of the hook-on signal is not detected, in step 104, it is searched whether the hook-on signal is received from the conference called party who is the conference subscriber connected to the conference call. If the hook-on signal is not detected in step 104, the process returns to step 102. If the reception of the hook-on signal is detected, the switch 1 recognizes that the number of the called party decreases by one in step 106, and the caller in step 108 Determine if you are the last conference recipient. In this case, if it is not the last callee, in step 116, the call path with the corresponding caller is turned off, and the flow returns to step 102. However, if it is recognized in step 108 that the last conference party is called, the exchange 1 turns off the conference call path between the conference caller and the conference caller in step 110, sends a call to the conference caller in step 112, and makes a conference call in step 114. Quit.

On the other hand, if the hook-on signal from the conference caller is received in step 102, the switch 1 turns off the conference call path in step 120, transmits the conference call end message to all conference callers in step 122, and conference call in step 114. To exit.

However, in the conventional conference call method described above, when the subscriber who requested the conference call ends the conference call and goes offline, all remaining subscribers registered in the conference group must finish the conference by listening to a busy tone. There was a problem. In addition, in order to avoid the above-mentioned problems, the conventional conference call method has a disadvantage in that the subscriber who requests the conference call has to wait until the call is completely terminated in the entire conference group.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a conference call method in a circuit switched network in which conference callers can maintain a conference call regardless of the call disconnection of the conference caller requesting the conference call.

The present invention for achieving the above object is a conference call method of a circuit-switched network consisting of at least two exchanges that record the call connection information for achieving a conference call of a plurality of subscribers,

A switch to which a conference caller who desires a conference call joins a call path with each subscriber who forms a conference group with the conference caller through a circuit-switched network based on the channel connection information in response to the conference call request of the conference caller. Connecting with a call step,

상기 교환기가 상기 회선교환망을 통해 상기 회의통화에 착신한 회의착신자로부터 수신한 훅크온신호에 응답하여 상기 가입자의 회의통화로를 절단하는 회의착신자절단단계와,A conference called party cutting step of disconnecting, by the exchange, the conference call path of the subscriber in response to a hook-on signal received from the conference called party receiving the conference call through the circuit switched network;

상기 훅크온신호를 송신한 가입자가 최종 회의착신자이면 상기 교환기가 회의발신자와의 회의통화로를 절단하는 회의발신자절단단계와,A conference caller cutting step of disconnecting, by the exchange, a conference call with a conference caller if the subscriber who sent the hook-on signal is a final conference party;

상기 교환기가 회의 발신자로부터 수신한 훅크온신호에 응답하여 회의착신자의 연결상태를 판단하는 연결상태 판단단계와.A connection state determination step of determining, by the exchange, a connection state of the conference called party in response to the hook-on signal received from the conference caller;

상기 연결상태의 판단결과, 연결된 회의 착신자가 하나이면 상기 회의착신자의 통화로를 절단하는 회의발신자절단단계와,A conference caller cutting step of cutting the call path of the conference called party if the connected conference called party is one;

As a result of the determination of the connection state, if at least two connected conference called parties are configured, the conference called party conference call step of conducting a conference call between the conference receivers is configured.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

3 is a flowchart illustrating a conference call method of a circuit-switching network according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is a conference caller conference call process after turning off a conference caller according to an embodiment of the present invention. Performance flow chart.

Referring to the state of the circuit switched network of FIG. 1 described above and the operation of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to FIGS. 3 to 4 described above, first, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. The conference call connection process of subscribing conference call subscribers may use the connection method disclosed in the aforementioned patent application No. 93-26121. Since this connection method is disclosed in detail in the above-mentioned patent application No. 93-26121, description thereof will be omitted. Therefore, in the state where the conference call is made by the above-described connection process, in step 202 shown in FIG. In this case, if the reception of the hook-on signal is not detected, it is searched in step 204 whether the hook-on signal is received from the conference called party who is the conference subscriber connected to the conference call. If the hook-on signal is not detected in step 204, the flow returns to step 202. If the reception of the hook-on signal is detected, the exchange 1 recognizes that the number of the called party decreases by one in step 206, and the caller in step 208 Determine if you are the last conference recipient. At this time, if the caller of the last meeting is not the caller, the caller is turned off at step 216 and returns to step 202. However, if it is recognized in step 208 that the last conference party is called, in step 210, the switch 1 turns off the conference call path between the conference caller and the conference called party.In step 212, a call is sent to the conference caller and the conference call is received in step 214. Quit.

On the other hand, if the hook-on signal from the conference caller is received in step 202, the switch 1 searches for a single caller currently conducting the conference call. Therefore, when the conference caller is found to be one, in step 222, the conference call path between the conference caller and the called party is turned off, the conference call termination message is sent to the conference caller, and the conference call is terminated in step 214.

If there are two or more conference callers currently performing the conference call in step 220, the conference call subroutine is performed between the conference callees in step 230.

Looking at the conference call subroutine between the conference callees in detail with reference to FIG. 4, first, as shown in FIG. 4, it is searched whether a hook-on signal is received from the callee in step 302. In this case, if the hook-on signal is received, the switch 1 recognizes that the conference called party has decreased by 1 at step 304, and determines whether there is currently one called party at step 306, and if it is not one, the hook-on at step 314. The conference call path of the corresponding called party corresponding to the signal is turned off and the process returns to step 302. However, if it is determined in step 306 that there is only one called party, the switch 1 turns off all conference call paths in step 308, sends a conference call end message to the remaining conference callers, and ends the conference call in step 312.

Therefore, as described above, the present invention has an advantage that the conference caller who requests the conference call can perform the conference call of the remaining conference subscribers connected to the conference path even if the conference call is cut off. Therefore, there is an advantage that the call cutting of the subscribers making up the conference call does not interfere with the conference call of the remaining conference call subscribers.

1 is a connection state diagram illustrating an example of connection of an exchange and a subscriber for a conference call in a general circuit switched network.

2 is a flowchart illustrating a conventional conference call termination process.

3 is a flowchart illustrating a conference call method of a circuit switched network according to an embodiment of the present invention.

4 is a flowchart illustrating a caller's conference call process after turning off the caller's call according to an embodiment of the present invention.
