Abstract

PURPOSE: An anti-lock brake system(ABS) for a vehicle is provided to make a modulator lightweight and compact by integrating a solenoid valve with a check valve for releasing pressure. CONSTITUTION: A booster(2) and a master cylinder(3) generate negative pressure when a brake pedal(1) is operated. A modulator(7) connected to the master cylinder(3) controls a wheel(W).
