PURPOSE: A compensating device for timer advancing of a diesel engine is provided to largely improve an acceleration response of a vehicle by providing a timer with immediate advancing in fuel injection time upon sudden acceleration of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A compensating device for timer advancing of a diesel engine comprises an acceleration pedal sensor for sensing operational state of the acceleration pedal, a hydraulic drain unit for quickly draining hydraulic pressure in a low pressure chamber of a timer cylinder, and a controller for controlling the hydraulic drain unit through signal from the acceleration pedal sensor. The hydraulic drain unit has a drain pipe(2) formed in the low pressure chamber, and a solenoid valve(3) for opening and closing a channel of the drain pipe by the controller. An ECU(electric control unit) of the engine serves to the controller. Fuel drained from the drain pipe is temporarily stored in a reservoir tank(5) and is supplied to a feed pump.
