Abstract

PURPOSE: A door apparatus of a refrigerator is provided to prevent a gasket from being separated and to inhibit defects in sealing a gasket and friction noise by preventing excess contact between the gasket and a case when a door is opened/closed. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator door(30) is rotated counterclockwise to be opened when a user pulls the refrigerator door forward with a grip groove(31) on a side of the refrigerator door. A hinge axis(52) of an intermediate hinge member(50) is separated from a small circular groove of a hinge groove(33) when the refrigerator door is opened. As the hinge axis is positioned at a large circular groove, a gasket is moved forward the user and the refrigerator door is kept at a tilt angle(alpha). The gasket is kept loose in contact from a case(10) or separated with a distance to inhibit friction noise. When the refrigerator door is closed by a pushing force toward the case, the refrigerator door is rotated clockwise to be closed. The hinge axis is returned to the small circular groove from the larger groove when the door is closed. The gasket is moved toward the case and adhered to the case softly. Therefore, the refrigerator door is closed.
