Abstract

PURPOSE: A method and a valve attached welding torch for reducing gas of a CO2 welding machine are provided to simplify the CO2 welding machine by removing a solenoid valve inside a wire feeder and an operating circuit thereof inside a power source, and reduce unnecessary waste of CO2 gas due to leakage of CO2 gas inside a torch cable during welding by consecutively operating the valve and a micro-switch during operating of a torch trigger.
