Abstract
PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for compensating a vacuum level of surface mounting devices is provided to judge whether components are well adsorbed. CONSTITUTION: A head part controller(200) adsorbs flap type components, mounts the same on a PCB, and outputs and receives various data through a communication path. A main controller(100) reads an output value of a pressure sensor within the head part controller(200), judges if adsorption is well carried out, and performs a next sequence, so as to control a mounter as a whole. A pressure sensor part(220) measures a vacuum level within a nozzle when components are adsorbed in an analog way. A control part(210) converts the analog value which is measured in the pressure sensor part, into a digital value, compares the vacuum level with a preset reference value, judges if the components are absorbed, and inputs/outputs all input/output within the head part.
