Abstract

PURPOSE: A hydraulic pressure control spool valve is provided to prevent pressure reduction with a forming narrow wake in a rear of a groove thereby decreasing a drag force of fluid passing through the groove. CONSTITUTION: A valve body(1) is equipped with a primary port(5) where controlled hydraulic pressure is supplied, a secondary port(7) with hydraulic pressure provided, and third, fifth ports(9,11) supplying hydraulic pressure selectively. The valve body has a chamber(13) accommodating a valve spool(3) supplying and intercepting hydraulic pressure to other port. For the valve spool to exert a mutual acting force between an elastic member(15) and hydraulic pressure, a first land(17) and a second land(19) are furnished and a groove(21) is defined by the first and second lands(17,19). In the groove of the valve spool, an embossing portion(23) is defined as a drag force diminishing implement for reducing hydraulic pressure by narrowly forming a flux wake at a rear of the groove(21) with decreasing the drag force of fluid passing through the groove.
