Abstract

PURPOSE: A lightening arrester for preventing a thunderstroke in a mobile communication base system is provided to improve an insertion loss by using only an inner bar of 1/4 wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A housing(3) comprises male screws hole formed at both sides of the housing(3) and a female screw hole formed at an upper portion of the housing(3). An input/output connector(10,11) is combined with the male screw holes of the housing(3). The input/output connector(10,11) is connected with a communication line. An inner bar(1) is connected with the input/output connector(10,11) in order to transfer power from a transmitter to a receiver. A grounding device(2) is installed vertically to the inner bar(1).
