Description

Coating layer formation method and coating layer firing product of ceramic doctor blade of paper coating machine

The present invention relates to a method for forming a ceramic coating layer and a ceramic coating layer composition of a doctor blade of a coater machine used in a papermaking process. In particular, in the production of fine art paper or white paper, the ratio of clay and calcium carbonate (CaCO 3 ) mixture (30:70) is applied to the surface of the paper for printing and printing when printing or printing such as to have no spots. .

In this way, a machine that applies a mixture of clay and calcium carbonate to one surface of paper is called a coater machine. A function of applying a thin layer of clay and calcium carbonate mixture on the paper to a coater such as a knife It is performed by the doctor blade in the form.

The doctor blade of the coater machine is generally a consumable part made of steel and shaped like a knife. This doctorblade is a coating of a viscous mixture of clay and calcium carbonate, so the blade will wear out easily and its life will be short every week.

Because the thickness of the viscous material such as clay applied on the surface of the paper should be applied very thinly and accurately, if the doctor blade wears out, the quality of the paper produced will be greatly deteriorated. It must be replaced.

Therefore, the doctor blade is a consumable product and requires high precision. However, as mentioned above, since the life of the existing doctor blade is short and can only be used for 1 to 2 hours, the replacement of the doctor blade has to be frequently interrupted in the entire process of the papermaking process.

In order to solve the above problems, we developed a doctor blade coated with high hardness, solid solution metal such as Wo, Mo, Cr, etc. on carbon steel plate, and now ceramic coated with alumina (Al 2 O 3 ) and zirconia mixed powder. (Ceramic) Coating doctor blade is being used.

Such conventional ceramic coating doctor blade is a plasma fusion coating of alumina 72 volume%, zirconia 28 volume% mixture on the steel blade.

Looking at the manufacturing process of the conventional ceramic coating blades such as to smoothly polish both sides of the carbon steel sheet (鋼板) and then to bevel (Bevel) to raise the blade to give a certain inclination angle to one edge of the surface to be coated, coating A ceramic coating layer is formed on one side of the steel sheet by plasma melting coating of one side of the steel sheet to be coated with 72 volume% of alumina (Al 2 O 3 ) powder and 28 volume% of zirconia (ZrO 2 ) mixture. The organic coating such as epoxy and wax is applied to the steel sheet on which the ceramic coating layer is formed. will be. Then, after the sealing process is finished to increase the smoothness of the ceramic coating layer is subjected to a bavel polishing to make the thickness of the ceramic coating layer formed on the blade portion constant after the plane polishing, then cut and cut to a certain size and shipped after inspection.

The conventional ceramic doctor blade forming the ceramic coating layer by the above method is not only a necessity of reducing the process step because the process is multi-stage, but also improves the service life of the ceramic coating layer made of alumina and zirconia of the composition ratio as described above. There is a need to extend it.

An object of the present invention is to increase the wear resistance and hardness of the coating layer to extend the life of the doctor blade by improving the ceramic coating layer forming method more effectively and improving the ceramic component and composition ratio of the coating layer in the ceramic doctor blade. .

Hereinafter, a method of forming a coating layer of the ceramic doctor blade according to the present invention, a ceramic component of the coating layer, and a composition ratio thereof will be described in detail.

The first step is a polishing process to smoothly planar polish both sides of the carbon steel sheet, and to bevel polish the blade by giving a certain rectangle to one side, that is, the surface to be coated, and then to the second step as 800Ni-20Cr mixture on the bevel polishing surface. Plasma coating is performed on the first metal coating, and on the other side of the surface to be ceramic coated in the third process, masking is performed with vinyl tape, and in the fourth process, the second ceramic coating is performed on the plastic coating as the ceramic mixed powder. Sealing process that fills the pores formed in the ceramic coating layer by wavering epoxy or wax on the ceramic coating layer in 5 steps to prevent damage of the coating layer in the next polishing process and planar polishing and bevel polishing in the 6th process. Cut it to a certain size, and then ship it after inspection.

And, in the following form the ceramic coating of the doctor blade in the same manner as looking for the ceramic components and the composition ratio of the coating layer the first means volume ratio 87% Al 2 O 3 as a - a 13% TiO 2, the second means 70 % Al 2 O 3 - 30% Cr 2 O 3, use 80% Al 2 O 3 -20% ZrO 2 component in the composition ratio as the third means.

The ceramic coating layer forming method and the ceramic component and the composition ratio of the ceramic doctor blade according to the present invention having the above-described configuration and operation are not performed by blasting in the manufacturing method as compared to the conventional ceramic doctor blade. It is economical, and the wear life is improved compared to the existing ceramic doctor blade, and the service life is extended.
