본고안은 공작기계에서 소형공작물을 가공함에 있어서, 공작물을 지지하여 주는 지그(JIG)인 돌리개를 공작기계주축대의 프론트커버(FRONT COVER)에 직접 볼트로 체결하여서 보다 편리하고 안정되게 가공할 수 있도록한 공작기계의 공작물지지장치에 관한 것으로, 중앙에 센터지지봉이 삽설되는 프론트커버전면에 워커홀더(WORK HOLDER)를 나사결합하고, 상기 워커홀드의 선단돌출부 끝단에 내주면에 요홈을 환설한 공작물지지용돌리개를 센터지지봉의 끝단보다 돌출되도록 나사결합하여 공작물의 일측단외연을 감착지지토록 구성함으로써, 공작물을 가공하기위한 로딩작업과 가공된 공작물의 언로딩작업을 수행함에 있어서, 단순히 돌리개의 공작물파지공에 삽입 또는 이탈시키기만 하면되므로 이때 소요되는 작업시간을 절감하게되고, 공작물에 가공된 세레이션부를 보호함은 물론, 돌리개가 공작물을 감착한 상태가 되므로써 작업도중 공작물이 이탈될 염려가 없는등 매우 안전하고 편리하게 작업을 수행할 수 있는 것이다.In this paper, when processing small workpieces in machine tools, the jig supporting the workpiece is bolted directly to the front cover of the machine tool spindle so that it can be processed more conveniently and stably.
