Abstract
The present invention relates to an audio head used for recording and reproducing an audio signal. In particular, in an unregulated audio IC in which the recording current is automatically adjusted in the system, the frequency of the audio head compensates for the frequency deviation caused by the impedance difference of the head itself. It relates to a deviation compensation circuit. The present invention provides a variable resistor between the record amplifier and the impedance matching unit of the record equalizer to control the variable resistor by the oscillation signal changed by the head impedance difference. Therefore, the present invention compensates for the change in the impedance matching relation during reproduction by changing the characteristics of the record equalizer, which in turn has the effect of compensating for the deviation of the frequency characteristics according to the impedance of the head itself.

The present invention relates to an audio head used for recording and playing an audio signal. In particular, an audio head compensates a frequency deviation caused by an impedance difference between the head itself in an unregulated IC in which a recording current is automatically adjusted in the system. It relates to a frequency deviation compensation circuit of the head.
Conventionally, in order to record an audio signal on a tape, it is necessary to adjust the recording current flowing to the audio head, but gradually, a system for introducing an unregulated audio IC that constantly adjusts the recording current in the system is expected to increase. However, even if a constant recording current is supplied to the audio head in a system using an unregulated audio IC, the frequency characteristic may change due to the impedance deviation of the head itself during reproduction. For example, in EP (Extended Play) mode, frequency deviation of up to 6dB occurs.
An object of the present invention to solve the above problems is to compensate for the frequency deviation of the audio head according to the impedance deviation of the head itself in the unregulated audio IC to compensate for the frequency deviation of the audio head to match the frequency during recording and playback of the audio signal In providing a circuit.
An object of the present invention described above is to provide an audio signal recording / reproducing apparatus using an unregulated audio IC for supplying a recording current automatically adjusted in the system to an audio head, wherein the impedance between the reproduction head and a circuit for reproducing the audio signal is adjusted. A variable resistor connected to a matching impedance matching unit, and means for controlling the variable resistor with a direct current voltage between an oscillator and an AC bias control unit varying according to the impedance deviation of the head, are achieved by a frequency deviation compensation circuit of the audio head.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 is a block diagram showing an audio signal recording / reproducing apparatus according to the present invention. As shown, the FIG. 1 device includes an oscillator 10 that generates a common current for the erase head 20 and the alternating current bias. The erasing head 20 and the recording / reproducing head 22 are connected to the output terminal of the oscillator 10. An AC bias adjuster 50 is connected between the oscillator 10 and the recording / playback head 22. The recording / playback head 22 is connected to the recording equalizer 30 when the IC is in the recording mode. The record equalizer 30 includes a record amplifier 32 and an impedance matching section 34. One end of the variable resistor 40, which is an added portion of the present invention, is connected between the recording amplifier 32 and the impedance matching unit 34. The variable resistor 40 is configured to control the voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias adjuster 50. On the other hand, when the IC is in the regeneration mode, the reproducing equalizer 60 is connected to the output terminal of the recording / reproducing head 22, and the recording / reproducing head 22 and the reproducing equalizer 60 are connected to the impedance matching section 34. By the impedance matching is configured. An output amplifier 70 is connected to an output terminal of the reproduction equalizer 60 so as to finally output an audio signal.
First, the general operation of the unregulated audio IC is described as follows. Normally 12V is applied to the oscillator 10 and the IC performs the operation in the regeneration mode. When the IC is in the playback mode, the recording / playback head 22 also operates exclusively for playback. In the LP (Long Play) mode and the EP mode, the audio signal read out from the predetermined recording medium by the recording / reproducing head 22 is impedance-matched by a capacitor and a resistor (not shown) of the impedance matching section 34. The impedance matched signal is applied to the regenerative equalizer 60, the waveform is corrected, and then sufficiently amplified in the output amplifier 70 and output to the outside. When the IC is switched to the recording mode, the oscillator 10 operates while the voltage, which is 12V between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias control unit 50, drops below 6V. That is, when a DC voltage of 2V to 6V is applied between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias control unit 50, the oscillator 10 generates an oscillation signal of a predetermined level at an initial stage. The oscillation signal is applied to the erasing head 20 and the recording / reproducing head 22. The oscillation signal applied to the recording / reproducing head 22 has a voltage drop depending on the impedance of the head, and thus the level of the oscillation signal changes. . The AC bias control unit 50 controls the voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias control unit 50 by comparing the changed oscillation signal value with a reference voltage value inside the AC bias control unit 50. When the impedance of the head is a reference value, the reference voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias control unit 50 is 4V. Then, since the level of the oscillation signal is reduced when the head impedance is larger than the reference value, the AC bias adjusting unit 50 reduces the voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias adjusting unit 50 to be smaller than the reference value (4V). Increase the level of oscillation signal. On the other hand, if the head impedance is less than the reference value AC bias control unit 50 reduces the level of the oscillation signal by increasing the voltage connected to the oscillator 10 than the reference value (4V). As a result, the recording head is supplied with a constant level to the reproduction head 22. However, as described above, even if a constant recording current flows through the head, the impedance value of the head itself is changed, so that the impedance matching relationship during reproduction changes.
According to the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, the impedance matching unit 34, which matches the head and the impedance during reproduction, changes in the characteristics of the recording equalizer 30 in association with the recording amplifier 32 in the recording mode. Use it to give. That is, as described above, since the value of the DC voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias control unit 50 changes in accordance with the head impedance, the variable resistor is controlled by the changing value. One end of the variable resistor is then connected between the impedance matching unit 34 and the recording amplifier 32 of the recording equalizer 30 to control the characteristics of the recording equalizer 30. Therefore, the change in impedance matching during reproduction can be compensated by changing the characteristics of the recording equalizer 30. When the IC is in the regeneration mode, since the voltage between the oscillator 10 and the AC bias adjuster 50 is 12V, the variable resistance value at this time is connected to the impedance matching unit 34.
As described above, the present invention compensates by changing the characteristics of the recording equalizer 30 that the impedance matching changes in the regeneration mode according to the deviation of the head impedance. Therefore, there is an effect of compensating for the deviation of the frequency characteristic due to the head impedance.
