Abstract
본 고안은 음극선관용 전자총의 개선된 컨버전스컵을 개시한다. 종래에는 각 벌브스페이서를 컨버전스컵의 외주에 소정각도 간격으로 접합하였는 바, 소정의 위치에 정확히 접합시키기가 대단히 어려울 뿐 아니라 자칫 오접합될 우려가 매우 높은 문제가 있었다. 본 고안에서는 벌브스페이서에 절곡부를 형성하고, 컨버전스컵에 벌브스페이서의 절곡부가 안착되는 복수의 안착홈을 형성함으로써 컨버전스컵의 소정위치에 각 벌브스페이서를 간단하고 정확하게 접합할 수 있도록 하였다.The present invention discloses an improved convergence cup of an electron gun for cathode ray tubes. 음극선관은 전자총으로부터 발사된 전자빔을 스크린(screen)상에 선택적으로 랜딩(landing)시킴으로써 화상을 표시하는 장치이다. 이러한 전자총은 전자를 방출하는 캐소드(cathode)와, 방출된 전자를 빔(beam)의 형태로 집속(集束) 및 가속(加速)시키는 복수의 전극들이 일체로 조립되어 제1도에 도시된 바와 같이 벌브(bulb; B)의 네크(neck; N)내에 장착됨으로써 음극선관을 구성하게 된다. 이때 전자총(A)의 전자빔 발사중심과 네크(N)의 중심이 불일치될 경우 화질이 열화(劣化)되게 되므로 음극선관의 제조시 이들간의 정합(alignment)은 매우 정밀하게 관리되어야 한다. 이를 위해 전자총(A)의 컨버전스컵(1)에 복수(통상3개)의 벌브스페이서(bulb spacer; 2)를 구비하여 네크(N)에 대해 탄성적으로 동심(同心) 지지하는 것이 일반적이다.A cathode ray tube is a device that displays an image by selectively landing an electron beam emitted from an electron gun on a screen.
