The present invention relates to a speaker cabinet, and more particularly to a speaker cabinet that improved the sound absorption of the cabinet.
A general speaker cabinet is a structure for accommodating and supporting a speaker unit including a magnet and a diaphragm, and is composed of a plate material having a low elastic modulus and bending strength such as plywood or particle board, and thus an abnormal resonance shape is generated due to the sound of the speaker unit.
In order to prevent sound degradation such as sound distortion caused by such abnormal resonance, it is necessary to appropriately absorb unnecessary standing waves in the speaker cabinet or to increase the strength of the cabinet so as to be less affected by standing waves.
FIG. 1 is a conventional technique in response to such a need, and only the fibrous sound absorbing material 5 made of cotton or glass fiber is attached to the inner surface of the speaker cabinet 1. However, the conventional sound absorbing material not only occupies a relatively large volume, but also has a disadvantage in that the sound absorbing material 5 is scattered due to sound pressure from the back of the speaker unit 2. In addition, there is a disadvantage in that the sound quality is degraded because the sound absorbing power is lowered over time due to sensitivity to humidity.
2 is a conventional speaker cabinet configuration diagram of porous lightweight concrete, and the porous lightweight concrete 3 is bonded to the inner surface thereof.
Porous concrete, which is widely used in construction, is to form a large amount of bubbles and reduce specific gravity by mixing foaming agents such as aluminum powder with cement. However, the cabinet structure of such porous permeable lightweight concrete has a disadvantage of poor sound absorption.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a speaker cabinet having good sound absorption while ensuring rigidity by ideally disposing a porous lightweight concrete and a fibrous sound absorbing material in order to solve the above problems.
In order to achieve the purpose of the present invention, the present invention is a speaker cabinet for receiving and supporting a speaker unit, the porous lightweight concrete over most of the inner surface of the speaker cabinet, and sandwich the existing fibrous sound-absorbing material between the lightweight concrete. Is achieved by installing.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
5 is a configuration diagram of a speaker cabinet according to an embodiment of the present invention, the existing fibrous sound absorbing material (5) such as cotton or glass fiber on the inner surface of the speaker cabinet (1) and attaching the lightweight concrete (3) again on it It is. Reference numeral 4 is a rod or lattice fixing member that lays the fixing member 4 on its side and fills the fibrous sound absorbing material 5 in the space therebetween in order to fix the lightweight concrete 3 directly to the speaker cabinet 1. . As such, when the fibrous sound absorbing material 5 and the light weight concrete 3, which serve as different media, are laminated in the middle, the unique sound absorbing properties of the material may complement each other to further improve the sound absorbing ability.
In particular, due to the characteristics of the light-weight concrete (3), the rear radiation of the speaker unit (2) is converted to thermal energy due to friction while passing through the fine holes of the light-weight concrete (3) is eliminated unnecessary standing waves, speaker cabinet (1) Due to the rigidity of the lightweight concrete (3) in close contact with the inner surface of the vibration of the cabinet itself is also reduced.
3 is a comparison of the output sound pressure-frequency characteristic (b) of the speaker system according to the present invention with the conventional case, and the sound quality characteristic is much better than the conventional case (a) with the peaks (7) and valleys (8) prominent. Is showing.
In addition, the vibration matrix line of the speaker cabinet according to the present invention is compared with the conventional vibration matrix line (a), as shown in the mode analysis diagram of FIG. You can see this much less change.
As described above, the speaker cabinet according to the present invention has an improvement capable of preventing abnormal resonant phenomena since the rigidity is increased and the sound absorbing property is good.
