Abstract
이 고안은 건물의 지면 아래에 매설된 가스배관의 정전기나 누전등과 같은 원인으로 인해 발생된 전기가 가스관끼리의 연결시에나 가스관과 가스계기의 연결시에 사용되는 유니언너트에 의해 전류흐름이 차단되므로서 가스폭발위험성이 없도록 하려는 목적으로 고안된 가스배관용 절연유니언트에 관한 것으로서, 유니언너트를 이루는 금속육각외곽체(10)의 육각내부공(11) 내주면에 관통공(15)과 걸림턱부(16) 및 나사공(17)이 중앙부에 형성되도록 절연체(14)를 성형시켜 표착되도록 하되 상기 절연체(14)가 육각내부공(11) 전,후부에 있는 이탈방지돌편(12)과 요홈(13)에 의해 걸림되어 이탈 및 회전방지되도록 하므로서 유니언너트 기능과 동시에 절연기능을 동시에 수행할 수 있도록 된 것이다.This design prevents current flow by the union nut used when connecting gas pipes or gas pipes and gas meters when electricity generated by sources such as static electricity or leakage of gas pipes buried beneath the ground of a building.
