An inhaler article for use in an inhaler system for providing dry powder to the lungs of a user, the inhaler article comprising:
a body extending along a longitudinal axis from a mouthpiece end to a distal end;
a capsule cavity defined within said body and bounded downstream by a filter element and upstream and distally by a deformable element, said deformable element being deformed by folding onto itself; a capsule cavity defining an open opening to form an open distal end, through which the inhaler article can receive swirling or rotating inhalation airflow during consumption;
