A method of wireless communication performed by a source user equipment (UE), comprising:
transmitting a first sidelink communication to a non-target UE ;
receiving a transmit power control command for a second sidelink communication based at least in part on transmitting the first sidelink communication to the non-target UE ;
wherein said transmission power control command is based at least in part on an interference measurement of said first sidelink communication;
and transmitting the second sidelink communication using a transmit power determined based at least in part on the transmit power control command.

generating a transmit power control command for a second sidelink communication based at least in part on the first sidelink communication ;

and transmitting the transmit power control command to control the sidelink transmit power of the source UE.

receiving transmit power control information from a non-target UE for relay to a source user equipment (UE), comprising:

determining a transmit power control command for the second sidelink communication for the source UE ;
and transmitting the transmit power control command to control the transmit power of the source UE for the second sidelink communication.
