A hose assembly, wherein said insulation, said cover , and said elastic sleeve are each rated for continuous use at a temperature of at least about 135°C.

providing a hose defining an internal fluid passageway and an outer surface, and a connection port mounted at a first end of the hose;
covering the outer surface of the hose with an insulating material;
attaching a cover around the insulation;
elastically stretching an elastic sleeve over at least a portion of the connection port and the cover to compressively engage the connection port and at least a portion of the cover;

The method of claim 1, wherein said insulation, said cover , and said elastic sleeve are each rated for continued use at a temperature of at least about 135°C.
