前記リモートコンピュータベースのサービスシステムは、前記一連のユーザが、(a)前記一連のクライアントデバイスを介して、選択したビデオコンテンツ上でソーシャルコメントを開始し、(b)個人人口統計学的データとデータ・リリース・ルールとを前記リモートコンピュータベースのサービスシステムに入力し、(c)データ保持ルールを設定することができるようにするように構成され、

A digital social recorder system operable within a computer network environment that (a) enables a set of users to comment and engage with live or on-demand broadcast content registered in a centralized manner; and (b) in a digital social recorder system configured to allow said set of users to view social comments related to a particular portion of said live or on-demand broadcast, said DSR system: ,
a remote computer-based service system in said computer network environment, said remote computer-based service system configured to provide and maintain an inter-provider reference database, said inter-provider reference database comprising: a remote computer-based service system configured to map media provider content to media content hashes in a media content pool by either a mapping mechanism or a media content fingerprinting mechanism;
a video indexing and searching system in cooperation with said remote computer-based system, said video indexing and searching system configured to enable searching of video content via said remote computer-based system;
a series of client devices configured to enable a series of users to interact with said remote computer-based system;
a non-transitory computer-implementable application implementable via the set of client devices;
The remote computer-based service system enables the set of users to (a) initiate social commenting on selected video content via the set of client devices; inputting release rules into said remote computer-based service system; and (c) setting data retention rules;
The digital social recorder system enables the series of users to watch the same broadcast via law-compliant content sources selected by each user, and user-generated social comments are simultaneously communicated to other users. configured to

The video indexing and video retrieval system initiates in response to a selected video file or a URL of a selected video file being presented to the remote computer-based system by a selected client device; 2. The digital social recorder system of claim 1, wherein the URL of the selected video file or the selected video file is processed into frames, and the processed frames are extracted to the target image size.
6. The digital social recorder system of claim 5, wherein the video indexing and video retrieval system is configured to generate a connected pixel search matrix from a series of frames to query a video database.
