Description
The present invention relates to a technique for detecting a copy of a code displayed on a display means.
In recent years, two-dimensional codes such as boarding passes for aircraft and trains, admission tickets for events, electronic money, coupons, etc. are expected to play a role of authentication. On the other hand, however, there are concerns about unauthorized duplication of the two-dimensional code.
As a method for detecting a copy of a two-dimensional code printed on paper, a method is known that uses a concealing ink that reflects infrared rays or a paper that includes a background pattern on the background. The concealing ink can be visually recognized by applying a special light source, and since it is not duplicated by a general copying machine, it can be used to detect duplication of a two-dimensional code. Further, since the copy-forgery-inhibited pattern emerges by duplication, authenticity can be determined by referring to the entire ticket including the two-dimensional code.
Patent Document 1 discloses a technique that can identify an illegally duplicated two-dimensional code by adding a digital watermark to a two-dimensional code printed on paper.
Nowadays, it is desired to realize a technique for detecting not only a two-dimensional code printed on paper but also a two-dimensional code displayed on a display such as a mobile phone. However, the concealing ink and the tint block cannot be used for the two-dimensional code displayed on the mobile phone display.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to generate a code that can identify that the code displayed on the display means has been duplicated by photographing.
The code evaluation apparatus according to the present invention includes a generation unit that generates a code in which a digital watermark is embedded, and a first display system image generation that generates a code when the code generated by the generation unit is displayed on a display unit. Means, and a first duplication system image generation unit for generating a duplication code when the duplication code copied by photographing the code generated by the first display system image generation unit is displayed on the display unit; A first imaging system image generation unit that generates a replication code when the replication code generated by the first replication system image generation unit is imaged; and a replication generated by the first imaging system image generation unit. Evaluation means for evaluating the code generated by the generation means based on the code, and the generation means embeds a digital watermark based on the evaluation result by the evaluation means. And generating the or code.
According to the present invention, it is possible to generate a code that can identify that the code displayed on the display means is copied by photographing.
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments to which the invention is applied will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration of a two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment includes a two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
In the present embodiment, the two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating a functional configuration of the two-dimensional
The evaluation
As another solution candidate search method, first, the solution
Next, the solution
The solution
The solution candidates here include parameters (for example, two-dimensional code model number, color, module pattern, and gradation) used for embedding a digital watermark, the type of digital watermark, and the digital watermark. And a method for embedding a digital watermark in a two-dimensional code (for example, wavelet transform, discrete cosine transform, etc.) and parameters (for example, mother wavelet, digital watermark embedding strength, etc.) . Each time the solution
As described above, in this embodiment, the consistency between the two-dimensional code displayed on the two-dimensional
Note that the method of maximizing the difference (evaluation value) is, for example, to determine a solution candidate having the highest difference (evaluation value) as an optimal solution among solution candidates obtained by a fixed number of search processes. Well, not particularly limited.
The two-dimensional
In addition, correction parameters (for example, color, brightness, gamma value, blur, etc.) of each mobile phone (two-dimensional
In this case, the two-dimensional
The

As shown in FIG. 5, the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the second embodiment includes a two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
In the present embodiment, the two-dimensional
Further, similarly to the first embodiment, the two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
In addition, the method of maximizing each difference (evaluation value) from each of the
Here, the evaluation value (Fitness) of the solution candidate in the second embodiment is calculated by the following equation, for example.
cor (x) indicates a rate at which the digital watermark x extracted from the two-dimensional code matches the original signal of the digital watermark. x_orig indicates a digital watermark extracted from the two-dimensional code displayed on the two-dimensional
As described above, in the present embodiment, by maximizing the evaluation value (difference) corresponding to the first device group and the evaluation value (difference) corresponding to the second device group, it is common among different models. Thus, it is possible to generate a two-dimensional code effective for copy detection.
In addition, a base whose movement is controlled by a motor or an actuator may be installed in each of the two-dimensional
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the third embodiment, the function of each device shown in the first embodiment is virtually implemented by simulation.

A two-dimensional
In the third embodiment, the functional configuration corresponding to all the configurations shown in FIG. 1 is provided in one two-dimensional code evaluation apparatus, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, a functional configuration corresponding to some of the components shown in FIG. 1 is provided in one two-dimensional code evaluation device, and the remaining components are configured by hardware different from the two-dimensional code evaluation device. Also good.
Next, a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the fourth embodiment, the function of each device of the two-dimensional code evaluation system in the second embodiment is virtually implemented by simulation. The two-dimensional code generation device according to the fourth embodiment has the same functional configuration as that of 701 to 704 shown in FIG. 7 for each model, and one two-dimensional code generation unit from each subtractor generates a difference for each model ( (Evaluation value) is input, and solution candidates are searched until their total value is equal to or greater than a threshold value.
Next, a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described. As the fifth embodiment, the code evaluation system according to the first embodiment and the code evaluation device according to the third embodiment may be used in combination. That is, when the models of the two-dimensional
In the above-described embodiment, a method for generating a two-dimensional code effective for copy detection has been described. However, a one-dimensional code (bar code) effective for copy detection can also be generated by a similar technique. In the above-described embodiment, image data deteriorated due to defocus, aberration, liquid crystal protective film, or the like is estimated based on the spatial frequency transfer function (MTF). Image data deteriorated due to camera shake may be estimated using an OTF (optical transfer function) consisting of Phase Transfer Function. In addition, the estimation of degraded image data can be applied not only to the third and fourth embodiments but also to the first and second embodiments. In addition, although blurring, aberration, LCD protective film, camera shake, etc. were cited as causes of image data degradation, it does not mean that all of these must be considered in the simulation, and some of them are considered. You may make it do not consider at all. However, as the degradation factors of the image data increase, it is possible to easily estimate the degradation of the image data due to the combination by simulation.
Next, a sixth embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the above-described embodiment, the method for generating a two-dimensional code effective for copy detection has been described. On the other hand, there are cases where a two-dimensional code in which a robust digital watermark that can be extracted is embedded is required even when copying is repeated. The two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment generates a two-dimensional code in which a robust digital watermark is embedded.
FIG. 8 is a diagram showing the configuration of the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment. 8, the configurations of 202, 203, and 205 are the same as the configurations of the same reference numerals shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 8, the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment includes a two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
In the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment, the two-dimensional
When the digital watermark can be extracted from the two-dimensional code photographed by the two-dimensional
Then, the two-dimensional
The two-dimensional
As described above, in the present embodiment, the two-dimensional code is generated so that the process of generating a duplicate copy of the two-dimensional code displayed on the two-dimensional
Note that the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment may be configured such that the processes described above are executed in parallel. That is, a plurality of configurations including the two-dimensional
In addition, the processing of the two-dimensional code evaluation system according to the present embodiment is the same as that described in the third embodiment. The display system deteriorated image estimation unit 701, the replication system deteriorated
A two-dimensional
As described above, in each of the above-described embodiments, the two-dimensional code has been described as an example. However, the present invention is not limited to this and can be applied to various codes.

Technical field [0001]
The present invention relates to a technique for detecting a copy of a code displayed on a display means.
Background art [0002]
In recent years, two-dimensional codes such as boarding passes for aircraft and trains, admission tickets for events, electronic money, coupons, etc. are expected to play a role of authentication. On the other hand, however, there are concerns about unauthorized duplication of the two-dimensional code.
[0003]
As a method for detecting a copy of a two-dimensional code printed on paper, a method is known that uses a concealing ink that reflects infrared rays or a paper that includes a background pattern on the background. The concealing ink can be visually recognized by applying a special light source, and since it is not duplicated by a general copying machine, it can be used to detect duplication of a two-dimensional code. Further, since the copy-forgery-inhibited pattern emerges by duplication, authenticity can be determined by referring to the entire ticket including the two-dimensional code.
