Abstract
Description
Claims (5)
- 生体に対し治療放射線を照射して治療する放射線治療装置であって、
照射される治療放射線を挟む方向おいて対向して配置され、陽電子放出核種から放出された陽電子が消滅する際に発生される一対の消滅γ線についてその入射2次元位置を検出する一対の2次元放射線検出器と、
この一対の2次元放射線検出器により検出した一対の位置に応じて、陽電子放出核種位置を検出する核種位置検出部と、
陽電子放出核種位置に向けて治療放射線を照射する放射線照射装置と、
を含むことを特徴とする放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1に記載の放射線治療装置において、
前記核種位置検出部は、時系列で検出される位置について、その移動距離または移動速度が所定以下のものに限定して位置検出を行うことを特徴とする放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1に記載の放射線治療装置において、
前記核種位置検出部は、前記放射線照射装置の治療放射線の照射位置に応じて陽電子放出核種の一対の2次元放射線検出器を結ぶ方向の位置を決定することを特徴とする放射線治療装置。 - 請求項3に記載の放射線治療装置において、
前記核種位置検出部は、生体中の各部位がほぼ同一位置にあると推定される時間範囲において、同時検出によって決定された一対の2次元放射線検出器を結ぶ線と検出器対の間にある関心平面が交差する点に陽電子放出核種があると仮定し、時系列の陽電子放出核種位置が形成する分布が、前記関心平面上において所定の範囲内にあるか否かによって、前記陽電子放出核種が前記関心平面上にあるか否かを判定することを特徴とする放射線治療装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の放射線治療装置において、
前記核種位置検出部において、検出した陽電子放出核種位置が前記放射線照射装置による放射線の照射範囲内である場合に、前記放射線照射装置による治療放射線の照射を行うことを特徴とする放射線治療装置。
