Description
The present invention relates to a communication system including a communication device having a multiplexing / demultiplexing function for a short packet inside an IP (Internet Protocol) packet. In particular, in voice over IP (VoIP: Voice Over IP), voice data is transmitted. The present invention relates to a communication system to which a communication method for multiplexing a plurality of accommodated short packets into one IP packet is applied.
The spread of the Internet since the beginning of the 90s has been remarkable. The basis of the Internet is a best effort type in which the entire network handles all packets fairly, that is, a communication service that does not guarantee the quality of service. The present invention has been made in view of the above, and applies a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), which is an existing signaling method, to perform communication using multiplexed IP packets, and an IP line multiplexer A first object is to obtain a management entity and an IP line multiplexer functional entity.
In addition, a second object is to provide a communication system, an IP line multiplexing device management entity, and an IP line multiplexing in which an IP terminal device or an end user can seamlessly use a voice line without recognizing packet multiplexing / separation. To obtain a functional unit functional entity.

In the present invention, when IP terminal devices connected to a network via a router perform mutual communication controlled by a SIP server, local IP packets from the IP terminal device to the opposing IP terminal device are multiplexed. According to the present invention, the IP address obtained by the INVITE and 200 OK in the call origination call in the SIP signal rig by the registration of the IP address from the IP line multiplexer functional entity to the IP line multiplexer management entity. The IP link multiplexer functional entity generates a multiplex link management table based on the management table generated by the IP line multiplexer management entity, and multiplexes / separates packets based on the management table generated by the IP line multiplexer management entity. An IP packet is generated.

RTPペイロード24には、たとえば、PCM(Pulse Code Modulation)符号化された音声データが含まれている。
Hereinafter, embodiments of a communication system, an IP line multiplexer management entity, and an IP line multiplexer functional entity according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. As described above, in this embodiment, a multilink configured by registration of an IP address from a general IP line multiplexer function entity to an IP line multiplexer management entity, and a call origination call in the SIP signal rig Since the multiple link management table is generated based on the IP address and the port number obtained by INVITE and 200 OK in the network, the local IP packet and the bearer IP packet are generated based on the generated link management table. By applying SIP, which is a method, mutual communication using multiplexed IP packets can be performed.
In addition, since the IP line multiplexer functional entity in the communication system multiplexes / separates packets based on the link management table, the terminal device or end user controls the IP line multiplexer in the communication system. It is possible to use the voice line seamlessly without performing the operation.
In addition, since the IP line multiplexer functional entity multiplexes packets, the voice line can be efficiently used by high-efficiency encoded multiplex transmission, and the system can be operated at low cost.
As described above, the communication system according to the present invention is useful for a communication system that handles voice data in VoIP, and is particularly suitable for a communication system that accommodates a large number of voice channels such as international lines.
