しかし、この方法では各録画端末装置は、電話回線に接続することが必要であり、かつ一定間隔でプロバイダーへアクセスし、情報をダウンロードしなければならず、サービス料金と電気代以外に電話代が必要であり、かつプロバイダーへのアクセス回数を減らすと、せっかく予約した情報が必要な時間に取ることができず、予約録画ができないということも発生しているのが現状である。
本発明では、外出先等から移動体端末や携帯端末から録画したい番組予約を実行し、その情報を電話回線を使用して各録画端末装置から取りに行くのではなく、番組予約情報を放送電波やＣＡＴＶ（ケーブルテレビ）等の放送を利用して、データ放送の１部として放送することで、待機状態でも受信は行っている録画端末装置が、常に録画予約情報を受信でき、録画予約を実行することを可能とするものである。
発明の開示

なお、この発明は装置またはシステムとして実現できるのみでなく、方法としても実現可能である。また、そのような発明の一部をソフトウェアとして構成することができることはもちろんである。またそのようなソフトウェアをコンピュータに実行させるために用いるソフトウェア製品（記録媒体）もこの発明の技術的な範囲に含まれることも当然である。
この発明の上述の側面およびこの発明の他の種々の側面については請求の範囲に記載され、以下、実施例を用いて詳細に説明される。

受信端末４０は、番組録画予約を行うパソコン４１０や録画機能付ＴＶやＳＴＢ４００であり、地上波アナログデータ放送、地上波デジタルデータ放送、ＢＳデジタルデータ放送、ＣＳデジタルデータ放送、または、デジタルＣＡＴＶにより放送された番組予約情報を受信し、番組予約情報が自分宛であるかをユーザＩＤや機種等の識別子により選別後、自分宛であった番組予約情報を使用して番組の録画を行う。
なお、ウェブベースのインタフェースを用いる場合、通信ネットワーク８０は、インターネットに限られるものではなく、通信事業者が固有に設けた、ＩＰ網、パケット網等であってもよい。
［予約番組指定］
