Abstract
PURPOSE:To minimize the positional deviation of a printing dot and to obtain high-quality printing by driving a state changing means according to the output of light intensity detecting means to change the projection position of a laser beam on a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Light intensity detectors 22a as the light intensity detecting means for detecting the light intensity of the laser beam 7a are provided to both ends on the outside of the photosensitive body 1a of a scanning line to the photosensitive body 1a. The intensity of the light received by the detectors 22a changes with the deviation of the scanning line of the laser beam in the sub-scanning direction and the outputs from the detectors 22a change correspondingly. The outputs from the detectors 22a are amplified by an amplifier 32a and are relationally operated by a relational operating circuit 33a as a control driving means. The angle of a 2nd mirror 13a is adjusted and changed to correct the projection position of the laser beam 7a on the photosensitive body 1a to the reference projection position if the projection position of the laser beam 7a deviates from the reference position. The high-quality color printing without having color slurring, etc., is thereby executed in spite of overlap transfer in the same position.
