〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、埋設ガス管の管路途中に設けられて
いる水取器の内部補修方法に関し、さらに具体的
には不要になつた水取器マンホールの口蓋接合部
から水が侵入したり、また口蓋接合部からガス漏
出が起るのを防止するために施される水取器の内

この不要水取器からのガス漏出を防止する対策が
施されている。

されている関係から、その口蓋接合部は、コーナ
部に跨つた位置にあり、通常のリング状のシール
部材を従来方式で単純に密着する場合、シール補

るシールガスケツトを、接着剤を含浸した可撓
性材で菱形断面を有する環状体に形成し、
(C) この環状シールガスケツトを口蓋の接合縁内
部に対向、支持した状態において、その環状内
周側より、円錘台形の外表面を有する拡開可能
な押付リングで半径方向に拡開しつつ且つ上側
に押付けるように操作することで、上記環状シ
ールガスケツトが、その上面側の外周隅部より
口蓋接合縁のコーナ部に密着し、そのコーナ部
の滞留空気を追出しつつ順次、上面側が口蓋内
面に、外周面側がマンホール口部の内面に密着
するように断面変形させて口蓋接合縁を密封す
るように補修する、
ことを特徴とするものである
〔作用〕
このような補修方法では、水取器マンホールの
内部より、その口蓋の接合部を内面密封するよう
にシールガスケツトを接着する際、そのシールガ
スケツトは、まず上面側の外周隅部が先行して口
蓋接合部のコーナ部に密着し、そのコーナ部に滞
留する空気を追い出すように順次、上面側が口蓋
内面に、外周面側がマンホール口部の内面に密着
されるように断面変形されて口蓋接合部を密封す
るように接着されるから、その接合部のコーナ部
に空気が封じ込まれる現象が起らず確実なシール
補修を達成できるようになる。

具備されている。この押付リング3の外表面の側
に位置して、断面V字形をした押付けゴム環5が
支え台1上に載せられてあり、このゴム環5によ
り断面菱形に形成され且つエポキシ樹脂などの接
着剤を含浸した多孔質の可撓性材よりなる環状の

れる現象が起らず、確実にシールガスケツト6を

で菱形断面を有する環状体に形成し、 この環状シールガスケツトを口蓋の接合縁内部
に対向、支持した状態において、その環状内周側
より、円錘台形の外表面を有する拡開可能な押付
リングで半径方向に拡開しつつ且つ上側に押付け
るように操作することで、上記環状シールガスケ
ツトが、その上面側の外周隅部より口蓋接合縁の
コーナ部に密着し、そのコーナ部の滞留空気を追
出しつつ順次、上面側が口蓋内面に、外周面側が
マンホール口部の内面に密着するように断面変形
させて口蓋接合縁を密封するように補修すること
