Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of continuous and quantitative supply and the measuring accuracy of toner electrification distribution by spraying only toner included in carrier supplied to a supporting body with a nozzle and then scraping the carrier by a scraper. CONSTITUTION:The supporting body 1 for attracting toner-included carrier 2 continuously fed from a feeder 6 by a magnet 1b and a non-magnetic body 16 are unitedly rotated at a fixed speed, and at a position X, only the toner 7 is sprayed by a blower B1 and the nozzle 8, recovered by a recovering means 9 and quantitatively supplied to a measuring instrument 10 to measure the distribution of charge of toner grains. At a position Z, the transferred carrier 2 is scraped by the scraper 11, recovered in a container 12 and sent to a toner feeding part Y so that the carrier is not left on a carrier attracting surface S upon which the magnetism of a fan type magnet 1b can not be applied. Thereby, the accuracy of continuous and quantitative feeding of toner and the measuring accuracy of toner electrification distribution can be improved.
