Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform cooking by a microwave oven and to enhance heating efficiency, by providing a half-cut surrounding each of scattering sections to the gas barrier layer of a lid material. CONSTITUTION:A lid material 1 is constituted by laminating not only a heat seal layer 3 to the inner surface of a synthetic resin base material 2 but also a metal membrane layer 6 to the outer surface thereof through a resin layer 4 and an adhesive layer 5 as a gas barrier layer. Each of half-cuts 8 is the cut line reaching the resin layer bonding the base material 2 and the metal membrane layer 6 and provided in order to partially release the metal membrane layer 6 of the lid material 1. At first, when the base material 2 is bent along the cut line piercing the base material 2, the layer 6 and the base material 2 are separated slightly and, therefore, when the layer 6 is picked and pulled along with a surface protective layer 7, the part 10 of the metal membrane layer 6 is released from the base material 2 the sections 9 surrounded by the half-cuts 8 are left on the base material. This container is introduced into a microwave oven to be cooked. At this time, since the residual metal membrane layers 6 are scattered, local heating is prevented to make uniform heating possible.
