Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect via either one of two devices that the supply of the power supply voltage is stopped by using a display means which performs the prescribed display in case the supply of the power supply voltage is impossible from all devices that carry out the transfer of data. CONSTITUTION:For a connection cable 13, a current flows via a power supply line 16, a resistance R3, a light emitting diode D1 and a ground line 17 while the power supply voltage is received from one of two devices 11 and 12. Thus the diode D1 is turned on. In case the power supply voltage is not received by the line 16 from both devices 11 and 12, no current flows on said route and the diode D1 is turned off. Thus it is possible to confirm whether the prescribed voltage is applied to a bus line 14 or not by confirming the ON/OFF state of the diode D1.
