Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a residual resin from molding grooves and prevent the occurrence of rejects, by preparing a groove cleaner which removes the resin remained in the molding grooves of a transfer roller before resin feeding. CONSTITUTION:A manufacturing device consists of a transfer roller 2 having a plural number of annular molding grooves 1 in its periphery, a resin feeder 4 feeding molten resin into the molding grooves 1 by means of a gun nozzle 3, a base paper feeder 5 feeding a transfer base paper W onto the outer surface of the transfer roller 2 at a specified speed and a groove cleaner 6 removing the resin remained in the molding grooves 1. The groove cleaner 6 is arranged on the side where the transfer base paper W of the transfer roller 2 is not contacted, and consists of a detector 19 which detects the presence or absence of residual resin in the molding grooves 1 and enters the detection output into a controller 18, and a cleaning member 20 which rises to remove the residual resin P according to the detection output of the detector 19. The cleaning member 20 removes the residual resin P by means of a nozzle 21 blowing high- pressure air against the molding grooves 1 in the direction opposite to that of revolution, until the time of next resin feeding.
