Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a paint film having difference in luster by coating the rugged surface of a base material with shrinkable paint. CONSTITUTION:The rugged surface of a base material 1 is coated with shrinkable paint 2 contg. a thermosetting resin such as acrylic resin or oil modified polyester resin as a film forming component. When the paint 2 is cured by baking, a wrinkled paint film 5 is formed on the surface (a) of each recessed part 3 owing to the large thickness and a flat paint film 6 is formed on the surface (b) of each projected part 4 owing to the small thickness. Thus, a paint film having difference in luster between the recessed and projected parts can be formed with a clear boundary and a patterned decorative material having an elaborate design can simply be produced at a low cost.
