CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from an LD 11 having two-point optical spots passes through a collimator lens 12, a beam splitter 13 and an objective lens 15 and forms two spots A and B at a land 4 formed between guide grooves 3 of a photoelectro-magnetic disk 1. Thus, a recording bit 2 is formed in two columns. At the time of reproduction, the spots A and B are formed on the recorded bit 2, the reflecting light is reflected through the objective lens 5 by the beam splitter 13 and made incident on a detecting system 14.
