Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of confidential information, without need for an extra treatment of a used ink film, by providing a mechanism for dropping, jetting or applying a treating liquid capable of making it impossible or difficult to read characters or the like left on the surface of the used ink film, onto the surface of the ink film. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-dropping device 11 comprises a rotary shaft 8 rotatably supported by bearings 13, 13', and an angular tubular body 12 which is provided with a multiplicity of liquid-dropping holes 12a, 12a,... in one face thereof and is supported by the shaft 8. A pipe 14 passed through the shaft 8 is passed into the tubular body 12, thereby making the interior of the tubular body 12 communicate with a liquid container 16. A cam 9 is fitted to an end of the shaft 8, and a protruding lever 10 on the cam 9 is disposed correspondingly to a vane plate 7 protruding from a take-up shaft 5 so that the vane plate 7 acts on the protruding lever 10 which operates in conjunction with the rotation of the take-up shaft 5, thereby rotating the tubular body 12. The liquid-dropping holes 12a, 12a,... are normally directed upward, and when they are directed downward in one rotation of the tubular body 12, a treating liquid is supplied to a used ink film 21. The liquid container 16 is disposed in an inverted state in a liquid pan 15 so that the treating liquid is supplied through the pipe 14 to the liquid-dropping device 11.
