Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a recording paper from being skewed and obtain a record of image data free of color misregistering, by registering a recording paper and feeding the paper to a recording means, before recording in each color. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 2 is inserted through a paper-supplying port 3, and a one side edge part of the paper 2 is brought into contact with a guide plate 5, thereby registering the paper 2. The leading end of the paper 2 is clamped by a platen roller 8 and a pressure roller 15c, and the paper 2 is fed as the platen roller 8 is rotated. A recording surface of the paper 2 is brought into close contact with an ink paper 10, the paper 2 and the ink paper 10 in this condition are fed to a contact part between a thermal head 9 and the platen roller 8, and an ink is transferred to the paper 2 by the heat generated by heat generating elements of the head 9, resulting in recording. The paper 2 is fed through a circulative feeding passage 14, is held between a feeding roller 4b and a pressure roller 15b, then between a feeding roller 4a and a pressure roller 15a, and is again brought to a registering part 21, where registering of the paper is conducted, followed by feeding the paper to a recording part 22. Thus, the paper 2 is circulated through the passage 14 according to a predetermined number of colors, then a discharging piece 12 is moved in the direction of an arrow B, whereby the paper 2 is discharged through a discharging port 13. Thus, multicolor superimposing recording is conducted.
