Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain a sanitary dry state and to effectively utilize a dead space by attaching a sterilizing and drying unit into a casing on the rear side of opening/closing door of a lower storage cabinet in a kitchen sink, etc., and irradiating the inside of a storage dry chamber in this casing with ultraviolet ryas or the like while letting warm air flow in. CONSTITUTION: The main body 1 of the device is fixed on the casing 3 on the rear side of a front door 2a of a storage cabinet 2 at the lower part of sink of a kitchen unit. A disinfectant dry unit 6 is attached at the upper part inside the casing 3, and its downside is constituted as a dry chamber 5. Air sucked from an inhale port by a fan 10 is sent into the dry chamber 5 to be heated and dried by a heater 11, and drying is effectively performed. At the same time, the dry chamber is irradiated with ultraviolet rays radiated from an ultraviolet disinfectant lamp 13 and the surface of a dish towel 7 or the like at that irradiated section is sterilized. Thus, it is not necessary to especially provided an install space around the kitchen unit, etc., and further storage articles can be dried and completely sterilized.
