Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress external disturbance without losing the stability of the entire system by providing a nonlinear control system in addition to a linear control system and operating the nonlinear control system when an external disturbance exceeds the permissible value of the linear control system. CONSTITUTION:When a change in a reference signal is large or shock and vibration is applied to a load 15 as an external disturbance, an error signal is increased depending on the frequency, the amplitude and the input waveform. The error signal is suppressed by the stiffness of the linear control system, but since the system is linear, the error signal exceeds the allowable limit depending on the magnitude of the external disturbance. Then the error signal is compared and monitored by a comparison amplifier section 12 and when it is predicted that the error signal exceeds the allowable value, a command is given to a power amplifier section 13, from which a control current B is generated, a thrust B is generated from a thrust generating section 14 and fed to a coil 24. Since the current cancels the external disturbance, even if the external disturbance has the magnitude and frequency in excess of the limit of the stiffness of the linear control system, the error is limited to the allowable value or below.
