Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A font set part 1 stores inputted font information into a font storage part 2. A character string storage part 4 stores a character string. A character string input part 3 displays the inputted character string on a display. An edition information generation part 5 generates the size of a brush- writing font, the read coordinate position on an image storage part, etc. An edition information storage part 6 stores the generated edition information. A brushpen-writing font retrieval part 7 reads a brush-writing font corresponding to a character code from a brushpen-writing font storage part 8 and stores it into a working image memory 10. A document image edition part 9 conducts the enlargement, reduction, etc. of the brush-writing character font on the working image memory 10 and carries out the cutting/combining synthesis, etc. of image data on an output image memory 12.
