Abstract

PURPOSE:To treat a plurality of the affected parts simultaneously by the same heating means or different heating means by providing a plurality of treatment units so as to control a heating part by the signal from a measuring part. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency hyper thermia unit 31 consists of an interface part 11, a temp. measuring part 11 and a heating part 13. The heating part 13 has a high frequency power supply and a matching circuit, and the high frequency output thereof is supplied two electrodes 15 by a coaxial cable 14. These electrodes 15 are connected to a living body 17 through porous bodies 16. Therefore, when a high frequency wave is applied to the electrodes 15, the affected part 18 such as the malignant tumor present at the deep part of a living body 18 is treated by heating. Since a temp. measuring part 12 and a heating part 13 are provided at every treatment units 3a-3n, a plurality of the treatment units 3a-3n can be controlled by one control part 1 and, therefore, more than one patients can be simultaneously treated.
